The Real Apprenticeship Company has accredited its first centre in Shanghai to deliver advanced apprenticeships in logistics. A joint capacity building programme has resulted in the training of staff at Shanghai Modern Circulation School and a local employer Ting Tong Logistics to offer U.K. Apprenticeships to support global logistics. From September 2017 the School will offer programmes accredited by The Real Apprenticeship Company.

Debbie Shandley Chief Executive of The Real Apprenticeship Company said: "Today we reach the final milestone in the pioneering work we have undertaken in Shanghai and a successful outcome for the U.K. Sino Modern Apprenticeship Agreement. The School will not simply continue to train apprentices but will become a national centre for capacity building, programme development and the sharing of good practice."

In the last three years the programme has trained 20 assessors, 4 Internal quality assurances, and 40 apprentices.
